At the beginning of 2020, I posted an self-expectation for the coming year. Full of optimism and confidence that 2020 was going to be a catalyst year for change.
Let me preface by saying – I think it still can be. I also believe many people have made the most of it, and pivoted the sails of their business and endeavors, and harness the blustering conditions to their own success.
For me – I won’t lie. I wasn’t prepared for what’s been happening. COViD-19 sucks. More than anything, it’s been mentally taxing on me. Piled upon that has been the endless barrage of social unrest. A part of me is grieving the unraveling of society when tested like we’ve collectively experienced. This isn’t a declaration of concession – it’s just saying it for what it is. 2020 sucks.
Standby for personal push-back. I still think 2020 will be a transformative year for me.
